a. European Plan (EP)

b. Continental Plan (CP)
Continental Plan (CP) is different from the previous type. This hotel uses a system where visitors pay the room price and breakfast is included.
c. Modified American Plan (MAP)
The Modified American Plan (MAP) is slightly different from the Continental Plan (CP). This hotel uses a system where visitors pay the price of the room which includes the cost of eating. However, this Modified American Plan hotel type will provide 2 meals service.
d. Full American Plan (FAP)
The Full American Plan (FAP) is slightly different from the Modified American Plan (MAP). This hotel still uses a system in which visitors pay for the room price as well as the cost of eating. However, the Full American Plan will provide a 3-meal service for guests.
Types of Hotels Based on Stars or Classes
These types of hotels are certainly familiar to most people. In fact, not a few people see and choose hotels based on stars or class.
The star or class here signifies the facilities and capacities offered by the hotel. However, the most common engraver factor based on star or class is by looking at the number of rooms or capacity it has.
The types of hotels based on stars or class are as follows:
a. One Star Hotel
This type of hotel has a standard capacity or number of rooms. Where the capacity has a minimum of 15 rooms. With a minimum standard room area of 20 square meters.
b. Two Star Hotels
Two-star hotels have a slightly larger number of standard rooms, namely a minimum of 20 rooms. With a minimum standard room area of 22 square meters. In addition, this type of hotel also has a minimum of 1 suite room with a minimum room area of 44 square meters. For amenities, there is a telephone and television in the room. The hotel also provides restaurant services and a sports venue.
